Mr. Fernando J. Gierbolini is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses primarily on commercial and tort litigation, with emphasis on telecommunications, intellectual property, distributorship, construction, and bankruptcy. Additionally, he has worked in several other areas of law such as real estate, and sports and entertainment law.
Mr. Gierbolini graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Fordham University in 1992 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 1995. Mr. Gierbolini is admitted to the practice of law before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and its lower courts, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Mr. Gierbolini is also a Notary Public.
Mr. Gierbolini is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, World Boxing Organization, and Fordham University Puerto Rico Club. In 2007, Mr. Gierbolini was elected Director of the Federal Bar Association and served as such until 2009. He is currently President of the Board of Directors of the Carlos Beltrán Baseball Academy Foundation and is an active member of the World Boxing Organization’s Complaints and Grievances Committee.
